Rachel and Lauryn met in LA and their friendship blossomed when they discovered a shared sensibility for stories. After finishing a good book, they couldn’t wait to share their recommendations. They wanted to capture that specific feeling in a bottle and share it with other people, but they weren’t sure how until Lauryn had a dream. 

While on a vacay to Baja together, Lauryn (terribly sunburnt and slathered in aloe) had a dream of an intimate dinner with warm lighting and gorgeous people- friends and strangers alike gathered around a long table. Each person was unwrapping a book recommended by someone else at the table. Everyone was laughing and sharing stories and meeting new people in a relaxed environment. 

This divine inspiration was all they needed to get started planning the first Good Good Books event, which took place in January 2024, and, not to be dramatic, but it was a literal dream realized.

Rachel and Lauryn can’t wait for what the good good future has in store!
